Bio

I am a product of this great district and knew that I had to come back as soon as I was done with my education. I went to Carroll Bell Elementary, Terrell Wells Middle School and McCollum High School, which provided me with a great opportunities to choose any university I wanted to attend. I attended the University of Texas at Austin. Hook 'em! This was a great opportunity, where I met a diverse number of individuals who had the same passions as I do and who are some of my best friends. I moved back to San Antonio to teach and was lucky enough to get picked at my district.

During my spare time, I conduct research in women's studies, media representation, bilingualism and literacy. I am the webmaster for this campus and used to yearbook! I am so excited to begin this year with y'all!

:D
